Dearest Nick, Chris, and Mitch,
I am sending you love, hugs, and prayers for peace during this sad occasion. I cherished your Mom, my cousin, as my older sister. We had a lot of fun through the years. We shared during your growing years the highs and concerns about our parenting skills. Even though years and miles have separated us, I still feel protective of you. I see her in each of you. I love you, Patty

I will always cherish the moments I spent with Barbara in her office at the hospital. I lived far from my family and she took me under her wing. She was a shoulder to lean on and made me laugh and look at the silver lining when things were tough for me. Who knew many years later she would be the woman my little nieces called Nana!! Nick, Chris, and Mitch, thank you for sharing your Mother with so many others, I know I am just one of many that got to benefit from her loving and nurturing spirit.
