To Karl’s Family: No words at this time can help take away the pain and emptiness you are feeling in regard to the loss of your beloved Karl; your Love for him will never die.
I am extremely heartbroken and saddened to hear of Karl’s passing. There is no other man on the face of this Earth that could ever begin to hold a candle to Karl ; he was a one and only and a rare breed, with a Breathtaking Smile and a Heart of Gold. The joy, the laughter and the happiness he brought to so many people will never be forgotten, not to mention his calmness and extraordinary positive outlook on life itself! The love for his family shined from his handsome face as he boasted with proudness about each and every one of them. The abundance of friends Karl accumulated over the years is an endless list in which he treated all with honesty and respect. You Rock on my friend, I Love You and you will Always and forever live in my Heart. You are the Best . God Bless You Karl; shine Bright my Friend

Karl, you radiated such a positive energy and your smile lit up every room you entered. I had the privilege of co-facilitating several training classes with you and it was so clear that standing in front of a classroom is where you belonged. I know it gave you great joy. You were the most loyal friend anyone could ever wish to have in their life. You loved your family with such a passion and I know they loved you right back. Sending love and prayers to each of them especially your precious mother. I will miss you, My Sweet Friend. Every time I hear Cyndi Lauper I will think of you and how you and your “true colors, true colors beautiful like a rainbow”.

Karl, I first met you in The Army at Fort Drum, NY. From the moment I saw you I knew we would have a connection that would last forever. 22 years later through letters, telephone calls, and our trip to New York we continued our beautiful friendship. Everyone wanted to be around your magnetic and contagious spirit. You made everyone feel their worth and beauty at times when we’d doubt ourselves. What a gift you have to touch peoples hearts with yours. I’m a better person for having you in my life and soul. Our connection was always music you understood how important music is to me and my passion for it. You felt the same and we always exchanged our favorite songs. I know you’ll always be with me. I feel you with my music, a gentle breeze on a beautiful fall day. and a light shinning in the dark. I love you my sweet beautiful friend. This is not good-bye until our eyes meet again. Keep me close to your heart. Love you Val

The angels looked down from heaven one night
They searched for miles afar,
And deep within the distance
They could see a shining star.
They knew that very instant
That the star was theirs to gain,
So they took you up to heaven
Forever to remain.
Look down on us from heaven
Keep us free from hurt and pain,
You’ll always be within my heart
Until we all meet again.

Madonna, Cher, TLC, Mariah Carey, Toni Braxton, Britney spears, Janet Jackson the list goes on and on. So many people places and things that keep you in my head all day. My life flashes before my eyes now every moment of every day. I’m very thankful that you no longer suffer in any way at all now. I consider myself one of the luckiest people in the world when it comes to friends. I really truly have life long amazing friends. You said you would save me a spot so just make sure your place isn’t full of cats and I won’t bring a bunch of kids. Lol. God needs you right now to help with all this hate in the world. I have a feeling America is going to start healing now. You’ve achieved so many things while you were here in the short time you were. The possibilities are endless now in eternity. Always and forever no matter what. Xoxo
