Rodney Lynn Hale was born January 10, 1953, in Newton, Kansas, to Keith Thornhill and Naomi Rosa (Neilson) Hale. He died Monday, September 7, 2015, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, at the age of 62 years. Rodney was reared and educated in Wichita, Kansas, and graduated with the Wichita South High School Class of 1971. He was married April 9, 1983, at Glenn Park Christian Church in Wichita to Brenda Guillory. Rodney recently relocated to the Tulsa area to work as a cabinet builder for NORDAM. He enjoyed a variety of pastimes including fishing and hunting. He also enjoyed slot car racing and leisurely walks with the dog.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Jeff Hale.
Memorial service will be held 5:30 p.m. Saturday, September 19, 2015, at the Mowery Funeral Service Chapel in Owasso.
I had the pleasure of knowing Rod for approx. 20-25 years. First met Rod at PPI where we built cabinets together. Rod was a great person and appreciated his sense of humor.
