Carolyn Kay (Moore) McIntosh of Tulsa was born to Freeman Chalmer and Essie Ola (Wharton) Moore on December 20, 1945 in Clarksville, Texas. She was the second born of twin girls. They moved from Bogota, TX to Oklahoma in 1959. Carolyn gave her heart to Jesus in 1963, and had followed him joyfully the remainder of her days. She was a graduate of Tulsa Central High School (Downtown) in 1964. Carolyn had met Donald R. McIntosh at a church camp in Tulsa in June of 1965. After much prayer, they were united in marriage on November 23, 1968; to this union three children were born. Carolyn’s priority in life, besides serving her savior, was to be a wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed playing Bunco, collecting Nutcracker figurines and playing games with her family. Carolyn passed from this life on Sunday, January 31, 2016 at the age of 70 years.
Those that cherish her memory include her husband – Don of the home; children – Kimberly Kay McCoy & husband Brad of Tulsa, Leslie Don McIntosh and wife Holli of Tulsa and Trenton Loren McIntosh and wife Miranda of Coweta; Grandchildren – Cody McCoy, Tyler McCoy, Jessica McIntosh, Alyssa McCoy, Scott McIntosh, Sierra McCoy and Ryan McIntosh. There are no words to describe how amazing and wonderful Aunt Carolyn was. She was one of a kind. She was my second Mom. She knew my heart. She was the one who led me to Jesus. I am who I am today because of her faith and example. She was the hands and feet of Christ. She lived to love others. I know she is rejoicing in Heaven. She impacted so many lives and I know she will be missed forever. My heart aches for her presence right now…but I look forward to the day when we will be reunited in Heaven! We love you forever Aunt Carolyn…and your legacy lives on forever through the lives you have touched.
Forever in Christ,
Layla, Randall, Savannah and Tessa Freeman

Carolyn’s dimpled smile will always be remembered. I am sure she had her share of sorrow and troubles in life, but she seemed always to be positive from my point of view. I know her family here on earth will miss her very much, but think about the family she joined in Heaven–and how happy she is to see them! May the Lord comfort you dear family members: Don, Kimberly, and Leslie and families. Love to you, Connie Sorrell and Family
