Jon Casey Goodson was born July 13, 1975 in San Francisco, California to Lawrence “Butch” and Marsha Lynn (Combs) Goodson. He died October 6, 2016, in Owasso, Oklahoma, at the age of 41 years. Casey graduated with the Owasso High School Class of 1994 and then went on to earn his Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of Oklahoma in Norman, Oklahoma and his Doctorate from Cleveland Chiropractic College in Kansas City, Missouri. Casey was very passionate about the City of Owasso and served on the Gathering on Main Planning Committee, Capital Improvements Committee, and the Land Use Master Plan Committee. He was also a member of Pi Kappa Phi Alumni Association. Casey had a variety of past times and enjoyed watching OU football, collecting Star Wars toys, building and painting War Hammer game pieces, gardening, cooking and enjoying a good bottle of wine, arguing politics, and scheming to make Owasso a better place, but most of all he loved his family. Loving family members include:
Sunny Goodson, of Owasso
Wyatt Goodson, of Owasso
Morgan Goodson, of Owasso
Mariah Goodson, of Owasso
Marsha Goodson, of Owasso
He was preceded in death by his father, Butch Goodson.

Casey was my Brother in Pi Kappa Phi. Of the many Brothers that share our oath, Casey was instrumental and paramount in helping me grow as a man, a businessman, a husband, and a father even to this day. While most of our discussions were debate in ideology and politics, when Casey and I were able to be together, we knew we had a bond only close confidants have. I will cherish every memory and experience I have had with Casey. He was truly a man of great character and so beloved by all who knew him. I count myself as lucky and blessed to have been counted as a friend. Brother, Rest In Peace in the Great Chapter Eternal. Thank you for your beautiful influence on my life. In Pi Kappa Phi, ΑΓ800. (Please forgive me for not using green ink)

Casey had a unforgettable smile. He was kind, encouraging, and generous. Casey gave back to his community and was thorough without insult. He has left a legacy his family can celebrate and be proud of. I’m thankful for having known him.
