Bobby Joe “BJ” Greenhaw was born August 17, 1932, in Rogers, Arkansas, to Hershel Marvin and Ruby Ruth Harris Greenhaw. He died Friday, February 17, 2017, in Owasso, Oklahoma, at the age of 84 years. Joe was reared and educated in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and graduated with the Will Rogers High School Class of 1950. He continued his education attending the University of Tulsa. He was a veteran of the armed forces having served his country honorably with the United States Air Force during the Korean War. Joe was married July 21, 1983, in Claremore, Oklahoma, to Linda Kaye Rice. He spent most of his working life with American Airlines in Tulsa as an inventory controller. He volunteered his time serving in the Air Force Reserve as well as the Tulsa Police Department Auxiliary. Joe enjoyed a variety of pastimes including traveling, wood working and running his own business, Creative Crafts, with Linda.

He was preceded in death by his parents, grandson, Cody Greenhaw, and two brothers, Finis Greenhaw and Marvin Greenhaw, Jr.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 21, 2017, at Mowery Funeral Service in Owasso. Funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 22, 2017, at Life.Church, Owasso Campus with Pastor Rob Beckley officiating. Serving as casket bearers will be Davie Martin, Tyler Greenhaw, Jimmy Wilson, Alex Greenhaw, Alex Richards, Kyle Jacobs, and Brett Greenhaw. Private family disposition will be held at a later date. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Mowery Funeral Service of Owasso.
